Congratulations to Kevin Chavez in his first Open Nationals for NSW (HUDA) winning a silver medal in the mens 3m. Well Done!
Kevin moved to Australia last year to live and represent Australia and is a member of and supported by Hunter United Diving Academy. Kevin trains with Australian Head Coach Chava Sobrino at the NSWIS and is extremely hopeful of Olympic Team selection after placing 2nd at the 2016 Australian Open Championships and 1st overall in the Rio Nomination Trials. Kevin followed up his great performance on 3m by winning Gold in the 1m springboard. Congratulations and good Luck Kevin!
