COACHING TEAM:

Monique Collin - Head Coach

Monique has been diving with HUDA since she was 7 years old and qualified for her first Age Nationals Competition when she was 8 years old.  Monique has been diving for more then 10 years and has represented HUDA and her school at a local, state and National level. Monique is a Level 1 Accredited Coach. 

Charlotte Moore

Charlotte has been diving for over a decade. Charlotte is a NSW age representative diver, a level 1 accredited coach & a level 3 judge. She has won many State & Local titles and is a senior member of Diving NSW. She is also a qualified primary school teacher & was the 2013 NSW Country Development Squad Assistant Coach.

Jim Zenith

Jim has been involved in diving for over 8 years, including representing North Yosemite League in California (High School diving). Jim has coached at Fresno High School Diving and Edison High School (1997-2000) and began coaching at HUDA in 2006. Jim is a PDHPE teacher at Macquarie College and Avondale Schools for the past 15 years. Jim is an accredited Level 1 Coach.

Nadia Kleinman

Nadia began diving in 1990 at Canberra Diving Academy and later joined NSWIS in the elite stream. She represented Australia at several world junior Diving championships. Nadia has recently returned as a coach and judge and perhaps masters competitor! She is a Registered Nurse and moved to the Hunter in 2022 with her dogs and baby.

Eric Brooker (Retired)

Eric has been in diving most of his life, firstly as an athlete in the 1970s and then as a coach, administrator and official for the rest of his 40 (ha ha!) odd (yes) years. Eric is a Level 3 accredited coach responsible for the overall development of the club. With many quality athletes under his charge Eric has helped to develop many athletes including Olympic Silver medallist Mathew Helm. In 2012 Eric was the Australian Judge at the London Olympic Games. Now on FINA TDC Eric dedicate many hours to the development of judges worldwide and is a board member of Diving Australia.

GUEST COACHES:

Josh Chapman

Josh is a senior member of Diving NSW and has been a State Age Representative since 2006. Josh is a Level 1 Accredited Coach and coaches Hunter Diving’s beginner & senior squad as well as Lambton High School’s Diving Team. Josh is an aspiring doctor, studying Nuclear Medicine at Newcastle University.

Jie Tsang

Jie comes to Hunter Diving after a career as a diver and coach in China. He has lived in Australia since 2011.  Jie has many qualifications within sport and fitness. Jie graduated from Yunnan Province University in 2007 specialising in Sports Training and Coaching. Apart from coaching diving Jie is a Gymnastics coach and Swimming instructor, he is also a qualified masseur.
